Using the power of the Multi Moon obtained from the duo, the Odyssey is ready for sail, and Captain Toad and Cappy use it to chase after Bowser and the Broodals.Ĭaptain Toad and Cappy, through the power of the Power Moons, traverse many kingdoms in their adventure, rescuing Mario, Luigi, and Wario in the process. Soon after, Captain Toad and Cappy find and defeat Madame Broode, the boss of the Broodals, and her pet Chain Chomp.
After defeating one of the Broodals, named Topper, Captain Toad and Cappy use a power line to travel to Fossil Falls of the Cascade Kingdom, where they find the airship, named the Odyssey, which uses Power Moons as energy to travel. However, upon reaching the top, Captain Toad is encountered by the Broodals, who were hired by Bowser as his wedding planners.
Cappy also informs Captain Toad that they may be able to find a usable airship in the next kingdom, accessible from the Top Hat Tower. Captain Toad and Cappy team up to stop Bowser's plans and save both Peach and Tiara, and using the piece he collected, Cappy transforms into the Magic Cap, allowing Captain Toad to use Cappy's abilities. The ghost reveals himself as Cappy, and explains to Captain Toad that Bowser had not only attacked the kingdom, destroying its airship armada, but had also kidnapped Tiara, Cappy's sister, using her as Peach's wedding headdress. A piece is obtained by a hat-shaped ghost, who eventually finds Captain Toad in his homeland of Bonneton, located in the Cap Kingdom.Īfterwards, Captain Toad wakes up and catches up with the ghost. He leaves the heroes' hats (which had been knocked off of the heroes' heads during his final attack) to adrift into the ship's back propellers, shredding it in the process. Bowser then takes his airship towards the skies, as he prepares a forced marriage to Peach.

Unlike Super Mario Odyssey, Mario is not the only playable character, nor is he even available at the start, like Super Mario 64 DS Captain Toad, Luigi and Wario also join the adventure in order to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser and his Broodals before he marries her.
Super Mario Odyssey 3DS is a 2022 game from the Super Mario series made for the handheld game system Nintendo 3DS. As a follow-up to Super Mario 64 DS for the Nintendo DS, it is a remake of Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch, bearing some new features on its storyline, gameplay and graphics.
